A Graphic Designer based on Vancouver Island, who specializes in Branding + Print Design.
I am a Visual Communicator and Graphic Designer based on Vancouver Island, BC. My objective is to facilitate connection between people, products, concepts and ideas. My job is to help you clearly realize your vision, and to present it professionally. I save you time and money as I work to best communicate what you have to offer efficiently and effectively.
I value community and making a conscious effort to preserve and improve the world we live in, as well as continuous learning and curiosity. In my spare time I enjoy taking in community events, volunteering with animals, playing board games with friends and family, painting, and exploring nature.
What I do:
Graphic Designers will often have niches, and you get the best bang for your buck choosing a designer who loves branding to brand your business. I’d like to think we are a passionate type of people, and when you do what you love – you do it effectively, and you do it efficiently!
Branding:
Logo design, branding design guidelines (fonts + colours), collateral, etc. are what I feel most passionate creating and bringing to life! I went into Graphic Design wanting to use my skills in design, communication, and organization – along with my artistic abilities and curiosity for psychology and symbolism – and apply all of that to best represent people, companies, concepts, and products.
Infographics:
I compile large amounts and/or complex data and information, and transform it into a visual medium that tells a story, and one that is easy to digest. They are more efficient, more engaging, and more effective in a lot of cases.
Graphic reports:
I love making a bunch of text interesting to read by way of layout, typography, graphics, and imagery. I have a lot of experience doing reports, from 10 pages to 200!
Print Materials:
Brochures, Rack cards, handouts, postcards, posters, invitations, display boards, banners, playing cards – you name it and I will design it!
Web Materials:
Social media imagery, branding, banners, advertisements.
Copywriting:
I am not a writer by trade, but like to think I have a way with words. I am able to do small amounts of copy for brochures and descriptions, but anything more and you’d be much better served by hiring a writing professional.
